The Way Back Randomizer

Another cool new feature of TheDailyShow.com is called “The Way Back Randomizer”. Simply click the button, it scans the database of shows, and randomly picks one for you. Unfortunately, a bug had caused the results to be limited to only clips from 2007. This has now been fixed!

I heard you might be back with new episodes soon despite the strike. That is awesome.

I hope you will bring Ron Paul on for an interview if that happens.

I think it would be funny to have as the news for the day the last scene of X-Men 3. Magneto represents the democrats and Wolverine and Storm represent the republicans.

I see no place where I can ask any questions about the new website format ... so I'm leaving a comment here ... I have always accessed the daily show from overseas, it was slow to load but it worked. Now with the new website format, all I can watch are the ads, the shows will never play .... what's up with that?

I'm a long time fan of the show & believe it is our best source of liberal response to the ever widening gap between honest reporting & the crap coming out of corperate news media.
That's why i'm so concerned about what i see as strike busting by you returning to the air next week. I come from a long line of union members, even though i'm not a member myself. I truely believe that unions are directly responsible for the middle class in this country & i don't understand your apparent lack of empathy for your writers plite. Fox tried to immitate your format several months ago & it failed miserably i think because their writers suck. They just don't get it. Is Viacom putting the corporate screws to you or what?

I was watching CNN Sunday 1/6/2008 (I guess about 1pm New Hampshire time) and this news correspondent was standing outside a NH town hall meeting. She said something like "these events are attracting visitors from out of town...". As if on cue, Santa Claus, preceded by a snowman (people in mascot type costumes), come marching across the background, just behind the correspondent, and out of view. The snowman reappears and disappears from the background several times. I hope this ends up on the show - hilarious!

Please invite Drew Westen to the show--he's an amazingly smart and fun scientist, political consultant, and author ("The Political Brain"). It'd be an intellectual orgasm to see him and Jon together.

Trying to find a link to send in a comment to the show. Seems I'm not the only one. Would like to send in my comments on Edwards/Huckabee and their analogy to Seabiscuit.

I know this is a horrible way to try to get the word out but I believe this would be a great issue to get into because if it is done right you can keep it going for some time look it up at dhmo.org it is great when you find out what it realy is

Thanks Timothy

i hate the new sites. the video page is all messed up, the timeline does not correspond with the videos below it. the popupar videos on the right all bear wrong dates (its always -1 day when you click on them). same with the "guests" page. it is titled "upcoming guests" but there are NO upcoming guests, nowhere on this page. to me it seems development on this site has stopped in december and no one even cares anymore to fix all its bugs and errors. thats a shame! this blog is also abandoned it seems. maybe at least a view visitors get to see this comment.

Sebastian -- Not sure what you mean about the time line which seems to be functioning properly. But thanks for pointing out the issue with Related Video being off by a day. We're getting that fixed now.
